This regulating transformer is ideally suited for use as a potline regulator in an aluminum smelter and with 32 load changing taps coupled with 2 sets of no-load tap changers, can regulate down to < 1 volt output. This feature essentially allows the user to start up a potline ONE POT AT A TIME if desired!
